Through millenniums, Creation's expression has come a long way into human form. As the Earth circles the Sun, another year of growth occurs. From the global perspective, Pluto is churning up the melting pot of culture and creed. While war, rebellion and dissent rage on, Pluto is asking humanity to lay down differences to find a common ground. What do we have in common? How do we access Truth beyond the minefield of human perception? Pluto has been pressing humanity to answer these questions since 1995, and will continue through 2008. Survival on the planet will come down to a global community, that is inclusive, rather then divisive. When belief systems are undergoing change, people tend to be confused. Others hold to what they know as an absolute. Ultimately, a new perspective is dawning.

Weather patterns continue to be disturbed and unpredictable this year. From an astrological point of view, we can look at Uranus and Neptune. These transcendental planets are working together until 2010. Stirring the winds and waters, Mother Earth is sending a strong message to the human kingdom. Uranus is in Pisces, ruling over the oceans. Neptune is in Aquarius, an air energy, ruling catalytic, dynamic change. These planets stimulate the ethers, which is spirit in action. Known as prana, chi, manna, this tangible power can be accessed for healing. Humans are awakening to the full implications for channeling this healing balm of ether into our world. It is our real, eternal food.

Speaking of Pisces, the progressed Sun of the United States entered this watery domain on November 2, 2004. This day may ring a bell as election day. A new thirty year cycle started for the country. With moral issues at the top of list in voter turnout, people are searching and reaching for higher standards. Many are automatically reflexing back into what is familiar to them. Over a period of time, the Piscean energies will stimulate the spiritual and moral fiber of American society. Pisces is very compassionate, dreamy, visionary and artistic. We are on the edge of a renaissance, artistically and spiritually. This will occur in response to current trends of war and materialism. People are seeking deeper meaning and purpose in their lives.

It is obvious that the United States has been under severe and challenging planetary energies since 9/11. While this pattern is completing this year, long term repercussions are evident. Saturn has been activating a significant segment of U.S. karma, and that is Pluto in the area of finances. It is a very challenging learning pattern for all citizens. It arouses an urge to acquire, with an unquenchable thirst for financial power. This includes misuse of resources, and the use of force. Dissatisfaction is characteristic of this pattern.

Through July 2005, the lessons are severe. This pattern is activating the President's destiny. Events may not be going the way he envisioned. Illusions fade away in light of hard, cold facts. What has been avoided or ignored will come to the surface for all to see. A huge shift of power is occurring between leaders, nations, corporations and financial institutions. An open discussion about freedom began in 2005. Can freedom be forced? If so, does it cease to be freedom? Chiron, the planetary healer, is entering Aquarius on February 21. This will set a new pace for social innovation. No matter how much the powers that be would stifle progress, the future can't be stopped. Progress happens. Many of the Aquarian ideals will begin to make sense. These are ideas like, "we create our own reality" and "let's create win/win solutions." Chiron in Aquarius will free people and groups to experiment, and envision new solutions to age old problems.

A significant shift this year involves Saturn. This planet is our taskmaster. Saturn makes sure we are progressing in our earth lessons. Humans are completing two years of focus on home, family, security and location. On July 16, Saturn is entering Leo. This will bring a new set of lessons. Leo, the lion-hearted, is dramatic, with a drive towards authenticity. "All the world's a stage" to the Leo. This can bring some significant evolutions in society. First of all, the entertainment industry will face the full impact of their productions. We can hope for a newfound sense of responsibility.

Secondly, the Saturn in Leo will activate the Pluto in Leo generation, those born between 1939-58. This group contains a majority of the 76 million baby boomers, and the first wave will be reaching retirement. This generation does not want to age, they are the "young at heart." But, aging they are. Over the next two years, they will face the repercussions of that reality. This generation stands as a massive force of creativity. Bottom line conditions, have the potential of directing their creative spirit into new, innovative markets, and they can make a difference in a variety of industries. Look for new alliances this year. Jupiter is in Libra. The bar will be raised in relationships. The symbol for Libra is the scales of balance. The scales are very sensitive, always weighing what is fair. There will be a renewed drive for integrity, honesty and openness in all agreements. On an individual level, many people will be aware of unbalance in their relationships. Some partnerships will end based on this clarity.
